Our standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including users who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, or other assistive technologies.
What we have done
To support accessibility, our website includes:
- A skip-to-main-content link at the top of every page for keyboard users
- Descriptive alternative text on images conveying meaningful information
- Semantic HTML landmarks (
header,nav,main,footer) that help screen readers orient users - ARIA labels on navigation elements and icon-only buttons
- Visible focus indicators for keyboard navigation
- Respects the user's
prefers-reduced-motionsystem setting for animated content - Phone and SMS links that work with native assistive technologies
Known limitations
We are aware of areas where accessibility can still be improved. We are actively working to address these and aim to complete updates on an ongoing basis. Some third-party embedded content (such as our patient portal and scheduling tool) is managed by outside vendors; we have communicated our accessibility expectations to those vendors but cannot fully control their implementations.
